HIV Education Through Scratch Animation
Working with learners who had been mentored by the NGO iThemba Lethu through their HIV awareness and prevention programme, we asked learners to create projects that express what they had learned and to create media that would speak to other young people. They made some terrific projects that were nuanced and addressed complex and sensitive issues such as HIV disclosure and stigma. See them all at our YouTube Chanel.

Curious Scientists in the Making
We were very happy to receive so many astronomy-related questions from Thandile and Thandeka. It was even better when, at the Durban Astronomical Society Meeting, 90% of the questions answered by the panel of experts were their questions. We will have to arrange a visit of the Astronomical Society to the school in 2018.
